Transfer existing customers between two reseller accounts.

Existing Reseller

Existing Reseller must open a ticket in their control panel authorizing the migration.

We value our partnerships with our resellers tremendously, and treat stewardship of their customers and their reputations with their customers with the utmost importance. As such, we don't want a reseller to be surprised by the loss of a customer and we want to make sure that they have the opportunity to retain the customer's business that they worked so hard to attain. To ensure the reseller has had this opportunity, we must have a ticket placed in their control panel releasing the customer from their account.
  1. Login to the control panel with your Administrative account.
  2. On left navigation bar under Client Account, click Support.
  3. Click Enter A Support Ticket.
  4. Fill out the ticket, then Click Create Ticket.

Subject: Transfer Customer
I would like to request that <customers domain> is to be transferred to <new reseller>.

Transferring Customer

The customer must place a ticket in their account authorizing the transfer

Resellers bill their customers and have full access to the customer's account. Because of this, we need to make sure that the customer is aware of the migration, and authorizes the change. This authorization is documented with their ticket.
  1. Login to the control panel with your Administrative account.
  2. On left navigation bar under Client Account, click Support.
  3. Click Enter A Support Ticket.
  4. Fill out the ticket, then Click Create Ticket.

Subject: Authorize transfer of account
We ,<customers domain>, authorize the transfer of our account from <old reseller> to <new reseller>.

New Reseller

The new reseller must place a ticket in their control panel accepting the customer into their account

We charge our resellers for the customers in their account, and as such we don't want to surprise them with any unauthorized bills. The ticket from the new reseller authenticates the change, and provides our support staff with the ability to communicate any additional steps necessary to complete the transaction.
  1. Login to the control panel with your Administrative account.
  2. On left navigation bar under Client Account, click Support.
  3. Click Enter A Support Ticket.
  4. Fill out the ticket, then Click Create Ticket.

We, <new reseller>, Authorize <customers domain> to be transferred from <old reseller> to our account.

  • What if the old reseller will not release the customer from their account?
    • Please contact us if you have any difficulty with transferring an account so we can help you and your resellers conclude any issues or concerns.
We select only the best resellers to join our program, and typically our resellers have a similar code of conduct valuing their customers even when they choose to cancel or transfer.
