Premium spam and malware protection is only one step away!

After signing up, SpamStopsHere will begin filtering your incoming email when you take one additional step - switching your MX records. We also recommend that you take a few additional steps before and after that to maximize email and network protection.

When you signed up, we determined the name of your existing mail server(s) from public records so we could start delivering your filtered mail. Before getting started here, you should confirm that information is correct in your control panel
Given the increasing volume of mail we'll suddenly be sending your mail server as the MX record change propagates across the Internet, your existing spam filter might decide to blacklist us. (The same would be true when moving to any Cloud-based spam filter.) Instead of disabling your existing spam filter (which would be dangerous), we recommend that you simply whitelist our servers.
This is the only required step. You must switch your MX records to point to our servers in order for us to filter your incoming mail. We can't do this for you, but our 24/7 support team will be happy to help walk you through it. Learn how to change your MX record for Office 365, GoDaddy, HostGator, and more.

Other Recommended Steps

While the MX record switch is propagating across the Internet, it's a good time to look through our optional filters to see if you might want to change any of the defaults. After the MX switch is done (which takes up to about 72 hours), you'll want to make sure that your mail server or service will only accept email from our SpamStopsHere servers. It's also then safe to disable you existing spam filter.

Review Filter Options
We provide a large number of additional and optional filters that you might want to configure for your own purposes. For example, you can add specific whitelist or blacklist entries that you absolutely need. You might also want to enable or disable some of the optional filters.
We strongly recommend that you set up a firewall after the MX record change is done propagating, so spammers cannot bypass SpamStopsHere and send email directly to your mail server. When set up properly, your mail server will only accept email from our known servers. More Info
Disable Your Spam Filter
Some new customers want to keep their existing spam filter active while using SpamStopsHere. We recommend that you disable your existing spam filter after the MX record change has propagated across the Internet and only if you have a properly configured Firewall (see above).

That's it! Sit back and enjoy! You'll be amazed at how great SpamStopsHere works. If you need assistance, simply call, chat or email 24/7, even during your free trial. We're happy to help.
