Setup:RestorEmail
From Greenview Wiki
1. Email messages are archived based on the email addresses that are displayed in the email message. Just like a normal email server, users must exist in the Email Archiving service in order for messages to be retained.
A. While logged in to the Greenview Data control panel as an IT Admin user click "User Management"
B. If creating a single user, click "Add User". Select the "User" checkbox and input the email address, password, and any other features you would like for the user (such as forcing them to create e new password upon login, etc.).
C. If creating a number of accounts, click "Import Users" to upload a CSV in the format described on that page.
2. (Optional) Create policies to define your archiving retention period. With the Continuity Edition, this is set by default to 30 days.
3. If you're already a SpamStopsHere customer, incoming email will start being delivered to your archive after a few minutes of propagation. Outgoing email and internal email (email from users on your domain to other users on your domain) will require these additional steps:
A. For outbound email, you'll need to use our Outbound SMTP Filtering (Part of the Enterprise Edition)
B. For internal email (email from users on your domain to other users on your domain), you'll need to have a mail server that supports Message Journalling and give us access to the journal account via POP. You can configure our service to pop messages in your Greenview Data control panel while logged in as an IT Admin by clicking on "RestorEmail" under "Hosted Services", then "POP3 Archiving". Click "Add Source" and input the hostname of your mail server and the username and password to the journal account.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact our 24/7/365 support staff via phone, email, or by submitting a ticket within your control panel.
