Better Than Backups

Imagine that your CEO or legal counsel wants a list of all emails sent or received within your organization in the past five years that contain "John Smith" and either "promotion" or "quarterly review". Trying to search through backups could be extremely difficult and time consuming. Simple backups do not meet legal discovery requirements. For example, backups don't include emails that were immediately deleted. And they tend not to be done continuously or consistently.

Greenview's RestorEmail captures, indexes and archives ALL incoming and outgoing emails not blocked by our antispam/antivirus filters. The resulting archive is available to search and retrieve within seconds...including deleted emails.

eDiscovery and Compliance

With RestorEmail, archived emails are fully indexed and searchable for quick retrieval. All incoming, outgoing and intra-organization emails are captured and cannot be deleted outside of policy rules.

The default retention period is unlimited, which you can override with policy-based rules for eDiscovery and litigation holds. Law firms can delete related emails when a case is closed.

The default storage, which satisfies the vast majority of customers, is the Amazon S3 cloud storage which has automatic redundancy and replication.

You should have full and easy access to the raw data. Whether you prefer storing your data in our data centers for additional privacy, in your own "private cloud", applying your own security controls with your own on-premise OpenStack appliances, or even any combination of these solutions, RestorEmail allows you full control over your data. While RestorEmail has an export function, we have designed our Amazon S3 cloud service in such a way that we can turn over the data to your full control, leaving it all on Amazon. Full Featured Control Panel

Flexible permissions determine exactly how much each user can search and view. That might include a single email address, shared email addresses, the entire domain or the entire organization.

A search can include any desired number of AND and OR terms to "contain" or "not contain" any part of the emails.

Search results can be saved and assigned to others, including legal counsel.
